补全对话

一、补全对话题的特点:

    补全对话题也叫阅读理解会话题,1996-2000年作为NMET阅读理解题的B节出现在全国高考试题中。2001年NMET增加听力试题,取消了语音知识和补全对话的考查。2005年陕西省采取不含听力的NMET试卷,补全对话题又回到试卷中。该试题主要考查学生运用语言进行实际交际的能力,试题由一段留有五个空的对话和七个答案项构成。其特点是要求考生通过阅读对话并根据对话的主要内容,在所提供的七个选项中选出五个答案将上面所给的对话补充完整,所以又叫“七选五”。

二、解答补全对话题的注意事项:

1.通读对话,确定话题功能

英语中的所有对话都是日常交际功能的体现。日常交际又可以分为66个不同的意念功能和24个话题,如问候,介绍,购物,打电话,看病等等。在解答这一题型时首先要清楚该对话的功能话题,然后根据不同话题的要求,确定答案范围;

2.理解试题的内容

在确定了对话的话题后,就要进一步理解对话的内容,确定对话双方的身份,对话发生的地点,场合,把握对话内容的语境;

3.个别推敲,遴选答案

这一步要求考生根据以上两步所做的判断,结合每个答案的上下文语境,选出合乎对话主人公身份和谈话内容的正确选项;

4.自下而上,逆向推理

一般考生在做题时都是采取自上而下的顺序,也就是阅读中的top-down 方法,有些考生在通读完整个对话后仍然对对话内容没有把握,这时可以采取自下而上的推理方法,即 bottom-up 逆推法,先看看对话是怎么结尾的,推理出上文的对话内容;

5.复读对话,验证答案

最后要求考生再通读整篇对话,验证对话是否通顺、流畅,确定答案。

 

 

三、强化训练:

    根据对话内容,从每组对话后的选项中选出能填人空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
